Back Ground
I bought this Berlinetta with a blown motor and had expected to strip it for parts.  Once I got it home and started digging around I found that the body was VERY solid and it had a factory POSI/Disk rear end.  Since everything else was in decent shape - I replaced the blown V8 with a good replacement SBC !  To add a little 'flair' to the exterior I installed a cowl hood, a high rise rear spoiler and some 16" IROC Wheels.  The interior remained mostly stock but I added a pair of LS Contour Front bucket seats from an 85 Trans Am.  The engine was also mostly stock, but it had a TPI exhaust system, Flowmaster cat-back and a L69 Duel Snorkel Air Cleaner.  I never got a chance to finish this car..... right after installing a good driver door and completing the preliminary body work the car was totaled while on my lunch break one afternoon.
