This car was purchased
from a friend that was ready to move away from sports cars. I had gone
with him to check it out the day he bought it and it was a very reliable LG4
with T5 Tranny and a POSI disk rear end. Other than swapping a Borg Warner
3.27 POSI rear into it I kept the car mostly stock and used it as a daily driver
for a couple years. Added a couple interior enhancements such as a BOSE
speaker system, 90-92 "yellow letter" option buttons and CD player, T-Top
Shades, 140 Speedo, Console clock and some other goodies ! One day I
missed a downshift on the highway and thought I blew the engine..... while
dismantling the engine bay to pull the motor I found that the top of the
distributor had exploded. Since I was already pretty involved - I
continued to pull the motor for a few upgrades. While I was at it I
decided to install a set of 92 Z28 Ground FX. Once the originally FX were
removed I discovered a LOT of rot under them - so much that I decided to scrap
the car rather than re-built it.
